EUROPE LAB | warsztaty
The workshop’s title refers to the Polish social movement Solidarność (Solidarity) and peaceful socio-political transformations that happened in Poland and other countries in Central-Eastern Europe. In such movements we can find inspiration for solving the problems of the modern world. During the workshop we will try to find what kept people captive and what brought them to freedom. We will examine how did the solidarity work between common people in different countries and what can we understand by “solidarity everyday” today. We will also work on a memory of a difficult past in our continent. The workshop will also be a chance to discuss and compare the collective memory of turbulent XX century in different European countries.
Target group: participants with a background in working with historical memory, social movements, non-violent conflict resulotion, local activism.
